Just like the title of the post says. It was supposed to be a simple doodle, a body practice, but it didn't want to leave me alone until I colored it. Then it demanded a background (the cheek of it!).
So, yeah. Might as well share it.

I just spent an entire evening putting it together and one "ctrl+A" and a following "n" ruined it all T__T

Anyway, I want it here so I guess it means I have to do it once more.
As some of you know I was on a sailing trip to Croatia, just got back from it a few days ago. It was a 4 days outing with some people from work, an event organized in order to let us get to know our co-workers better.
Anyway, Croatia. I'm charmed. A beautiful country, sky-blue clear sea, sun, wind, sails. I still haven't shaken off the awe. That's why I want to share some pictures with you guys.

I dug out oekakis I drew like 4-5 years ago. The only ones I've ever made. The fact that I don't have a tablet might have something to do with it. Which means - yes, I drew those two with a mouse. From the very beginning to the very end. That was an interesting experience but one I don't necessarily care to repeat :P

I got scanner-happy yesterday. I've had this picture (as well as dozens of other) lying in my drawer for ages. Since high school, actually. This one was drawn on a paper that is bigger than my scanner's glass, so I scanned it in two parts and _nodrama101_ put it together for me, you can't even find the joining line ^^
She helped me with the title for this one, too, as I felt that "a lady with a sword and an apple on a background of a face and flowers" doesn't really fit the picture's mood :P

Some have already seen the same picture colored by _nodrama101_ and adapted into a CD cover (she did a really great job on that, here for those who haven't seen it yet). She molested talked me into inking and coloring it by myself, too. And I'm really grateful for that, because she reminded my how fun it is to draw :]

about the pic: it was supposed to be two guys, obviously :P but somehow one of them came out more like a she O_o so it's your choice :D it's either a girl or a feminine guy :> (pekul said it's a guy without even a bit of doubt, but then she said she always expects me to draw guys xD)
i know it's kinda sketchy and very lightly colored, but i swear it was supposed to be like that :P i have a thing for lightly colored sketches and there's no better way to color them than in a graphic program (crayons don't look good on a pencil).
i hope you like it anyway :]
i guess it means that i'm back :P
over the time i was away i moved, i got a job, i became what most people refer to as: an adult.
i'm still not sure about the "responsible" thing though.
